The New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics is the state’s leading voice advocating that all newborns, infants, children and adolescents should have equal access to comprehensive healthcare, provided by a pediatric medical home team. Serving as a guidepost for ensuring the children in New Jersey have the opportunity to attain optimal health, safety and well-being, the Chapter established the Agenda for Children.
The Agenda illuminates the priority areas that the Chapter believes to be essential for supporting pediatric healthcare provider’s efforts to address the complex needs of the children and families for whom they care.
The Chapter has and continues efforts on additional areas that advance the health and well-being of all children in New Jersey.
